Relationships

Connect deeper. Communicate better.

The people closest to us are often where we most want to get things right. These sessions are about showing up a little more openly, listening better, saying the thing, feeling closer to the people who matter. Gentle support for the relationships you care about.

Our relationship sessions are guided hypnosis recordings for the relationships that matter to you, each one guiding you to relax and picture yourself listening, speaking and connecting more openly.

What these sessions are like

Each session takes its own approach, but most begin the same way. Find somewhere quiet where you can sit or lie down and close your eyes safely. A calm, steady voice, over soft background music, guides your breathing and helps you relax. You might then be invited to picture a conversation you'd like to have and go through it at your own pace, or to think about a person who matters to you. At the end, the voice gently counts you back, so you feel alert and ready to carry on.

Not sure where to start?

Choose the session closest to what's on your mind, whether that's communicating, trust or feeling closer.

Before you start, please read who our sessions aren’t suitable for.

Relationships sessions: common questions

Is it for couples or just for me?

The sessions are for you to listen to on your own. They focus on how you show up with a partner, family or friends. If your partner wants to listen, they can do so on their own, in their own time, with their own copy.

Is this relationship counselling?

No. If things are difficult, a qualified counsellor can help.

When should I listen?

Whenever suits you. You might listen before a conversation you've been putting off, or when you'd like to feel closer to someone.

What if my relationship doesn't feel safe?

These sessions aren't the right support if you feel afraid of a partner or anyone close to you. You can call the free 24-hour National Domestic Abuse Helpline on 0808 2000 247. In an emergency, call 999.
